SPS Database - In recent years the number of problems encountered by Indian Exporters exporting products of various commodities due to Sanitary and Phytosanitary measures applied by third countries continues to grow. To bring more transparency in the situation and to optimalize the efforts to resolve these issues, the Indian Government has established the SPS export database.

The information contained in this database has been what was circulated by the members under the SPS notification requirement at the WTO.

To bring more transparency in the situation and to optimalize the efforts to resolve these issues, the Indian Government has established the TBT export database.

The information contained in this database has been what was circulated by the members under the TBT notification requirement at the WTO.

Export Inspection Council (Government of India) - EIC is an advisory body to the Central Government, which is empowered under the Act to:

• Notify commodities which will be subject to quality control and/ or inspection prior to export,
• Establish standards of quality for such notified commodities, and
• Specify the type of quality control and / or inspection to be applied to such commodities.
